Mamma Mia!

Mamma Mia!, originally written by British playwright Catherine Johnson, is based on the songs of 70’s Swedish dance/pop mega-group ABBA. It came to the stage in 1999, thanks to the tireless effort of producer Judy Craymer who convinced ABBA’s Benny Anderson and Bjorn Ulvaeus that their songs needed to brought to the stage. In 2001, with Phyllida Lloyd serving as director, the musical opened at Braodway’s Winter Garden Theatre and has rocked ever since.

Set in the prohibition era and based on a 1926 play of the same name, Chicago the musical is a true Broadway tale of fame, fortune, jazz; show-stopping songs and the most astonishing dancing you've ever seen.

Billy Elliot: The Musical

Billy Elliot, The Musical, richly tells the story of a a working-class British boy discovering he has a special talent for ballet, while the boys all around him are more interested in boxing. Based on the critically acclaimed 2000 award-winning film, the story took place during the UK coal miner's strike in 1984, in opposition to the threatened closure and privatization by then Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher.

The Lion King

The Lion King, winner of six 1998 Awards, including Best New Musical, has been brought to the stage of Minskoff Theater. Directed and designed by Tony Award winner Julie Taymor, the landmark Disney musical is a favorite for children and adults alike with its lavish costumes and award-winning music by Elton John and Tim Rice.
